I moved to the Alps this summer, a landscape known for its mountains and unique outdoor life. One of the challenges of relocating to such an expansive place is finding new trails to ride, something many mountain bikers can relate to.
That's why I started this newsletter. Apps for finding trails have certainly improved the process. A couple of years ago, finding trails without local knowledge was often tricky. But now, these tools make it easier to begin your journey.
I want to highlight the Bike Arc Trail Center next to Bikepark Les 7 Laux in this issue. Locals have built two trails: La Green Piste and Wild Berries. These trails suit a wide range of riders, focusing on flow and speed. They may not be the most demanding, but they are really fun once you get up to speed.
The ride up also offers some lovely scenery, with views of the valley and a chance to observe some of the local high-altitude cows.
If you find yourself with some free time, why not give it a try? The experience at Trail Arc Trail Center might just bring a big smile to your face.
For more information, you can visit their Facebook page here.
And you can find the trails on TrailForks here.
Let's keep in touch! More exciting rides await. Can't wait to explore more and share.
